3 giant steps to transforming whatever you want.

To really make a proper transformation of yourself from inside out, you have make up your mind about three crtical things. Are you ready to-
Raise your standards,
Review Your strategies, and
Change your limiting beliefs?
1. Raise your standards. You ought to challenge yourself to try and change certain aspects of life. Some of them would include Investment, Income, Relationships, and Health! If you are satisfied with these aspects of your life there is  no point trying to change them, but if you are not satisfied, and you feel there is still room for improvement, why not make a commitment to improving on these key areas? If you can do that, certainly something about your life would be transformed.  Raise your standards of investment, income, relationships and health and it would improve your life. Investments and income levels might be on the low side for you and if your consider taking them a notch higher by expanding your investment base and looking at other ways in which you can earn income something is bound to happen. The thing about additional investment opportunities and extra income is you never find them unless you really take your time and look them up. A keen search in your areas of interest is required. Beyond your normal job, what else can you do? While handling a full time job in journalism I learnt that I have a passion for teaching. At a seminar where I made a presentation, the organizers saw that gift in me and asked me to teach at an institute part time. Beyond that, I have a passion for writing, and there are always opportunities to write. The question that should follow is how can I make money from this? For investments, it all depends on what we are interested in and what we can afford. In the area of relationships we ought to look at our relationships with God, our family, friends and work associates and ask ourselves are there areas in which we can improve? If there are, what can we do to improve upon those relationships? What habits can we imbibe that would make us better, healthier? Speaking to people more, praying and reading the scriptures. Exercising regularly, eating right, drinking water more than any other drink. Taking prescription drugs that have been recommended for us is also important. Some people have been known to skip taking their drugs and they end up fulling sick.  Everyone should have a standard of the life he wishes to live and should also work towards it.
2. Review your strategies: Time is a commitment we all have to make whenever we want something to change. We have to spend time working on it. Life is like a musical instrument. The more we focus on mastering it, the better we will get to know how to play it! Such strategies would therefore include spending more time working at what we want to change for the better. The aspect is sometimes, whatever we want to improve could require that we spend more money on it. Experience has shown that money alone cannot change a problem. We do not always get everything we pay for. But often we would find that a combined effort of time, money and action would help a change to come about. The way we do things therefore, has to change. Sometimes, what we need is more commitment, increased focus, troubleshooting and problem solving abilities. Reviewing our strategies could mean devising a new method or plan to achieve something. If the old method is not working to our expected standard then a new one is order.
3. Change your limiting beliefs! What people are saying about your person, product, or service is not always accurate. How you see things matters a lot. If you believe and accept everything that is said or expressed about you and your business, you could be limiting yourself. Perception matters a lot. So do your thoughts about what you do or what you sell. If you are marketing a product or service, first and foremost, you have to be able to use it and it must work for you, before you can have the conviction to sell it to others. So what's good about your product and how can you make it better? What can you put in the narrative about the product that would change perception. The other aspect of this is what are you saying to yourself? What does yourself speak consist of? Condemnation, praise, encouragement? Do you believe that you can do better at what you do? Are there things you believe you can do that would ensure that what people say about you, your product or service would change? Word of mouth is important. Work at changing the narrative. The third aspect of changing beliefs involves what you do! Action would take you further than desire. In stead of wishing things to be better, you have to take positive steps to make them better. What do you do repeatedly about your product, service or person?
4. Consistently we have to work at redefining ourselves if we want changes. There should be a grand difference between how we are now and how we want to be. If we can differentiate between those two states, that is a starting point.
